I'm getting not so appealing marks this term but at least I know my L1b5 is below 10.
I wanna sleep soon.
Don't feel like posting.
And there's some weird spammer who came here yesterday and spammed.
I tracked the IP address but somehow it ended up being RosyGoh's IP. I really don't know.
Are you looking for the good life?
You can have it here and now and in the hereafter!
Just take God's hand & he will lead you there.

Tests are over. I'm gonna not do well for maths because I made a lot of careless mistakes. I hope I get A's for the sciences though. Humanities were also screwed up except for Social Studies.
I forgot to bring a pen to church today. I was suppose to always have a pen in my bag but I keep losing stationery and its really irritating at times. However, I managed to concentrate better without a pen. I need to get out of my comfort zone and make a bigger difference in this world. I hope I can achieve my aspirations as quickly as possible with quality and God's guidance. The testimonies last year were astounding, both mentally and spiritually. I was amazed at how things fall in place. Everything happens for a reason and if u trust in God, he will provide you with the right things. Sometimes trials are placed in our lives, but these only make us stronger in the end. God works in unexpected ways.
Going swimming tomorrow at Clementi. I really wanted to go somewhere nearer but I guess that will have to do.
Faith is the title deed to every good thing God has prepared for and promised his children.

Only 2 more papers to go and the common tests are over, at least for this term.
I screwed up Add maths though the paper was not hard... made a lot of careless mistakes in differenting, resulting in the whole problem being screwed. I think I'll do relatively well for elective humanities and social studies. I should get As for Biology and Physics hopefully ... but if I don't then I shall not be sad since this is only term one. History was a painful killer... I didn't revise enough on Stalin but my Khrushchev essay should be well done.
I'm left with chemistry and E Maths tomorrow. Prepared my chemistry notes and maths notes already ... probably gonna revise them after dinner. I'm so slack this term. I don't think I'll do well but I do hope I can get at least a 70% or above.
Can't wait for tomorrow afternoon. I'll start training in maple again just for this weekend... missed whacking all those cute mobs. Lol. Crap. I have 20 mingju to memorise for the final test.
But I chose mostly short sentences so it should be fine. Facebook is lagging.
We learn less from success than we do from failure. Failure teaches us wisdom and humility, and these are 2 treasures well worth obtaining.
Hopefully failure leads to success... quickly.

Biology paper went well today. I overstudied sexual reproduction in humans which failed to appear in the paper. I hope I can get an A1 for that. The higher chinese common test was screwed up. I didn't even know what the passages were getting at... so I did what every student in a dilemma would do during such an exam, I copied whole blocs of paragraphs.
Now I shall type my social studies essay here because I'm a mugger dog ... Lol.
Essay Type 1
Bilateral relations are diplomatic relations between 2 countries.
It covers trade, cultural exchange, technology assistance, and help in times of need.
eg: Trade with China, cultural exchange with Malaysia, transfer of skills and tech from Germany.
Doctors and nurses are sent from Singapore to Vietnam and Nepal in times of need.
Disagreements can be discussed and settled peacefully
Relations between countries are enhanced when leaders visit each other/
Singapore has established bilateral relations with many countries since her independance.
The partnership between 2 countries has allowed Singapore to benefit in a number of ways, technologically, economically, and culturally.
This has sped up Singapore's economic and cultural development.
As Singapore is able to extend help to her friends in times of need, she has gained world recognition and respect.
Good bilateral relations lead to better understanding between 2 countries, resulting in few conflicts and peaceful means in ending or preventing conflicts.
In regional relations, countries in the same region come together to form an association and the association becomes stronger by combining the strength of the members like ASEAN.
It is hence better placed to deal with other countries or associations.
3 main aims of ASEAN are to
promote economic, social, cultural development of the region
promote peace and stability in the region
provide opportunities for each member country to discuss and resolve differences peacefully
As a founding member, Singapore tries to actively maintain peace and prosperity in SEA,
eg: Took on leadership role in ASEAN regional forum.
Member countries have opportunities to discuss and settle differences peacefully, thus preventing conflicts among members of the association.
Regional relations strengthen ties between member countries, promoting better understanding and reducing conflicts.
Most member countries will have vested interests in any potential conflict that may take place, and will work harder to prevent the problem and its negative consequences.
International relations involve ties among many groupings and nations in the world.
The UN plays an important role.
UN serves the needs of all countries globally
It's mission is to ..
preserve world peace
safeguard peace and stability
provide aid to countries in need
give a voice to every member country
Singapore is recognised as independant by the UN.
As a member, Singapore was given help and advice by UN experts on social and economic development.
Membership in International Organisations like the UN ensured Singapore's sovereignity as a nation. The UN continues to act as platform for small countries like Singapore, to have a voice in the world forum. Membership has enabled Singapore to develop friendship ties and share valuable information essential for development and national security.
Deterrence includes measures used by countries to prevent and protect themselves from threats. Countries need to be militarily self reliant to gain the confidence of locals and foreigners.
Singapore fosters friendly ties with armed forces from other nations.
Bilateral & Multilateral defence exercises are held, involving training and interacting with armed forces of participating countries. eg: Singapore Air Force trains in USA and Australia
Deterrence is the first line of defence for any country.
Though Singapore has strong diplomatic relations, it needs a strong SAF to deter potential enemies. Singapore must take correct steps to peace/stability, diplomacy along is not a guarantee of that.
RI:
International relations is the most important factor.
It allows Singapore to interact with countries on a holistic and international scale, which is essential for the transfer of valuable information and technology for Singapore's development and national security. Bilateral relations may not be as effective as Singapore has not made such relations with every country in the world. ASEAN only involves countries in the SEA region, hence Singapore has to extend its interaction with other countries around the world to gain recognition, via the UN.
I have 2 more essays to learn.
Crap.
Crap.
Crap.
And I have Geography to learn also.
Save me, cause I can't float, sinking ... =(
I shall pray to God.
Gof means for life to be a pleasure, not a chore.
If that comes as news to you, its time to reevaluate.

It turned out that I didn't screw the mingju test ... though I did had one sentence partially incorrect. Hopefully I'm be able to get above 90% again, if not above 85%. Today's music lesson was great, I feel that I have improved significantly and this was confirmed by my music teacher. I need to work harder on my theory and sightreading still ... theory is just like maths, there are even certain forumlas to remember ...
I keep seeing floaters. These little translucent strips floating about in the vitreous humour of my eyes. They say that its harmless but I keep noticing it at times. I hope the minor problem goes away soon.
I had yet to finish my theory homework ... and the common tests are just around the corner and I have so much to study and I am totally unmotivated at this juncture. In fact, I feel like curling up in a ball and sleeping for 12 hours, after which I will be awakened by the aroma of a sumptuous meal. Then I would eat and play all my favourite games, and watch all my favourite anime. And I would be able to produce the best music and sing loudly and beautifully and I'm probably talking nonsence now because I'm feeling a bit out of my head. No, maybe not a bit, but considerably out of my head, about 50% lunatic, if I should consider adding some figures to the craziness index of myself. And anyone would stumbles upon this paragraph and is now reading this sentence (which is highly unlikely), will think that I'm the weirdest weirdo on earth who has nothing better to type, unless he or she has met someone who has left a greater impression of weirdness on his or her lives.
When there are people around us who seem difficult or even impossible to work with, we should ask God to intervene and help us see things from their perspective; that can make all the difference.
Peace out... (Woo, first time using this phrase, I wonder what so cool about it ...I would rather have peace in than peace out, I mean who doesn't want peace, apart from terrorists.)

I'm screwed for tomorrow's chinese mingju test unless I can miraculously get back the mingju list from my friend by today. I totally forgot that he had borrowed it and now it's too late to get it back because I'm at home and he's out of reach. I should have more responsibility in lending things to others. Next time, I'll record down everything that people have borrowed from me, and make sure they return it. Likewise, I'll also make sure that I return everything I've borrowed. Ugh this totally sucks, I hope I don't fail my mingju test because I've never ever gotten below 90%, except for once, when I was really lazy after the final year exams and didn't study it well. But I still ended up with 70% I think...
I have a secret mingju battleplan that will be launched tomorrow morning. As soon as I get back my mingju from XiangAn, I shall start mugging the 9 sentences. Moreover, it's the final mingju test 131 ~ 139 ... I don't wanna screw it up ... It's a good thing PE lesson is the first thing tomorrow ... hence I shall lock myself up in a toilet cubicle and start memorising. Then if my PE teacher comes looking for me (though he most likely wouldn't care if I'm around), I will say that my anus and bladder just burst... so I had to spend 50 mins in the washroom knitting that together. And that would be a blatant lie ... Of course I won't say that.
Sometimes I wonder if things happen for a reason. Well, there are many lessons for me to learn. I wanna live a long long life. I will not die until I accomplish my aims and aspirations. I need God, Faith, Hope, Love, Trust and Perseverance to motivate me ... it's the period of common tests next week and I need to get prepared. Then there's PS I Love You Event on Friday night and I have to bring people to christ. Yes ... I can do it and that's what I'll do. I'm a bit corny now.
Chinese New Year was fun. Paternal Grandma moved to a bungalow in Changi which is like so far away from my home in the west. I had a nice nap in the van though, whilst listening to the rocking hits of The Rocket Summer. This year's AngBao collection is over 200 dollars but there's more to come as I haven't seen all my relatives. I'm so poor ... I want more money to save for my future, though my intentions to save money are obscure. It was nice playing with my cousins. We had fun at the playground last Friday night, where we talked a lot of nonsence together. Paternal Grandma's house had a small swing which was like so fun to play with ... and there was also a small pool with guppies inside. Me and my younger cousin Mandy fed the fish breadcrumbs by scraping burnt toast with small rough stones that we found on the sidewalk. I feel like a kampong boy all of a sudden.
I'm random today.
Riddle from my friend: How many blondes does it take to screw a lightbulb?
Answer: 1001, 1 to hold the lightbulb, 1000 to turn the house.
God's love is always. It knows no boundaries, no hours or days.

What makes happy people happy? Maybe it's that they're so busy thinking of others that they don't have time to think about themselves. I hope I can be like that someday. I always feel debted to everyone who has shown kindness to me.
Happy Chinese New Year everyone!
I've had 2 reunion dinners so far ... And I'm really full after eating so much food. The restaurant had a temporary short circuit today but it was unexpectedly intriguing, especially when the waitresses were so optimistic despite the power trip. I intend to live life to the fullest, up to my expectations and God's purposes of course. As long as I live, I don't ever intend to smoke a cigarette (except chocolate bars that are shaped like cigarettes to look cool), drink any alcoholic beverage, or ingest any prohibited drug.
There's this really cool band called The Rocket Summer. I just heard their songs yesterday and I'm in love with the songs already. Not only are the songs optimistic, they have good moral values spaced between lyrics and harmony. My favourites so far include Brat Pack, So Much Love, Never Knew, Break It Out, and Save Me. The vocalist is Bryce Avary & he's possibly the one who arranges all the music too.
Including God in everything adds a whole new dimension to life. It's like stepping into a new world where even things that used to be mundane can become extraordinary.

Church was uplifting today. And I'm regular on my TAWG as well. Went for a Reunion dinner yesterday and it was fun and delicious. I think tea is good for my health and intestines. I drank 6 glasses of tea and the restaurant. The food there was delectable but extremely expensive. There were 2 tables, each table costing 700 dollars which in my opinion, is very costly.
Going swimming tomorrow at Cdans. I hope we can find some good lockers, and hopefully they only require coins for usage. If not, we will have to risk our belongings being stolen.
I've come up with some personal beliefs on my way home just now. I've forgotton some of them. Oh well, I shall pen or post it somewhere if I can remember them again.
Our first reaction to any trouble or need should be to pray. God has all the answers, and He can help us when no one or nothing else can. In short, miracles happen when u pray and believe.
