We ran 2.4km today for our PE. I passed the NAPFA test for running. I think I got a C grade. My timing for the run was like 11.36 minutes if I'm not wrong. The concert today was great! Though the translations from English to Japanese were not very well presented, the performance still deserved a standing ovation, well at least in my opinion. I'm impressed that the Japanese Band and ACJC Band could collaborate with each other despite the language barrier. The combined band worked well together.

After that, everyone was like so Jap-crazy. I talked to 2 Japanese girls in the afternoon. They understood me and praised me so I felt happy! I just realised that there's this weird ultra long brass instrument (more than a metre in length), and the guy playing it had to sit on some high chair so that the stick supporting that long instrument could just touch the ground. It's so intriguing!

There's lots of homework over the weekend. I need to read the GP package and go through the vocabulary words, do the latest maths tutorial, read up my chemistry and biology notes, and prepare some economics stuff. That's practically like all the subjects. And we had this long mundane lecture for PW today. Our 2 themes are Emergency and Conservation. Wow...

When you have love in your heart, you can see beauty in everything. I'll modify that. When you have lots of love in your heart, you can see beauty in most things.

I haven't blogged in English for quite some time. My Japanese typing software just expired. It's a trial version anyway. I need to get the real one soon. Now I have no built-in Japanese Dictionary in that typing software. I can still type Japanese characters and Kanji though. I hope the software won't go through an auto-shutdown in the next few days. It has this built-in clock that counts the number of times the software is used. Technology is like so advanced these days.

I feel much more at ease typing in English than in Japanese. That language is still quite foreign to me, though I've mastered quite a few grammar expressions. My Japanese vocabulary is less than a quarter of my Mandarin Vocabulary, which is less than half of my English Vocabulary. Never mind. I'm just making assumptions in a weird sentence.

Students from Tazukayama High School in Nara, a prefecture in Japan, came to our school today. They will be performing tomorrow at the performing arts centre. I heard the band consisted of 48 girls and only 3 guys. Girls outnumber guys, and the same scenario can be observed in my class too, except that the ratio of boys to girls in my class is 1:2, as compared to 1:16, as seen in that band.

I've gotten tanner due to swimming. I have a distinguished white underwear now, only noticeable in my birthday suit. I need to sleep soon. I'm tired. I need to do Time Alone With God. Oh I've gotten a Japanese pen pal. We are having an online language and cultural exchange programme. So fun! I do hope my Japanese Club Proposal gets accepted. I want life to be filled with more happiness and positive surprises!

Holidays have just begun today and I'm going to be very busy. There's a lot of activities lined up and so many things to do! Tomorrow I need to go for Japanese class at noon, then rush to the National Library for some KidsRead programme, then go to church to submit my testimony... My quiet time with God has experience a lot of disruptions lately. I need to settle that too.

I am supposed to have swim camp from Monday to Wednesday but I have a doctor's appointment on Tuesday so I gotta skip Tuesday's training. There's a lot to plan for games day next Saturday too. And for homework, there's practically no subject without homework except for project work. I have to finish Maths Tutorials, Atomic Structure Tutorial, GP homework, Biology essays, Econs essay ...

We celebrated my friend's birthday this week. We had it at the Ikea Family Restaurant and took some ridiculous pictures. We like taking weird pictures that are hilarious to look at. We had our Track and Field Meet on Wednesday which was quite mundane. There's a huge spider web on the tree near the north lodges in my school and the spider is huge too. I'm random.

Our teacher shared with us the ACJC A level results. We improved by about 25% as compared to the 2007 results. I hope that our results keep improving and the gradient of our performance keeps getting steeper (till it becomes vertical).

The Little Sunbird flew to our house about 4 years ago. Mama and Papa Sunbird both worked together to construct a cute nest situated on a long branch of our bamboo plant. The nest had a long tail and was oval in structure, hanging from the tall branch. Eggs were laid and the babies grew up. Now, they're back again for the 8th Generation of offspring. The baby bird just gained independence from the nest today. The nest had been rebuilt once after the 7th Generation and I'm glad to see that the birds are still using our balcony as a nesting area. They're so cute and adorable and my ears have become accustomed to their high-pitched chirps.

I had PE today. It was really tiring. We ran 7 rounds round the track, and did more than 100 push ups and crunches in total. I should eat dinner soon.

I have economics homework to do.  Everything that's worth something costs something. The most important things are worth the price you have to pay to obtain them, though that's not necessarily true at times.

It's March already. School has been fun and enriching. Maths is starting to get more difficult than expected but I should be able to cope with it somehow through sheer effort, right tactics and God's wisdom. I'm starting to get the hang of JC life. I'm gonna try to fulfill my aspirations for this year. We had a sports talk today. Long one. I don't feel like typing a long post. Shall end it quickly.

I'm signing up for Japanese O levels this year. That makes me excited. Hope I do well. I wanna start a Japanese Club in my school too. When the time is right, I'll pursue that aim. I need to get a school locker too.
