La vie comme étudiant en deuxième année
I know I haven't blogged in a while. There are really so many things that are going on in my life now and I'm really glad to have met some amazing people that have changed my life and shaped my character. Even though there are certain hardships and challenges that I'm facing, I've decided to think positively and take on them wholeheartedly.
The past 3 weeks have been really hectic. I've been through an operation just a month ago. The physical wounds have begun to heal and I hope for a neat and complete healing in about 2 more months. Incidentally, we are learning about inflammation and healing in our pathology class now. I hope to be able to apply what I've learnt soon.
The Japanese that came over for a stay over at my house were polite and well mannered. We had a terribly exhausting week bringing them around the island but nevertheless a week filled with joy and laughter. Photos and cards were exchanged. I even got a chance to stay at the Marina Bay Sands Hotel for a night.
I met with my Korean buddies for dinner and watched my friends perform a contemporary Korean dance. As much as I wish to join them for their dance practices, I know that I have other commitments. My friend and I had been successfully registered for a relatively advanced Korean Language module at the centre for language studies. We are surprised at our persistence. Lessons are thrice a week in the evenings. I hope to do well in this module and improve my command of the Korean Language.
I just watched Step Up Revolution. It made me love dance more. Many will be inspired to take up dancing. I stopped my hip hop classes about a month ago. I wonder when will it be time to take the second step.
